Information on Zenodo, NMT's institutional repository

Skeen Library uses Zenodo--developed and managed by CERN--as the institutional repository for New Mexico Tech. Zenodo is an Open Access online repository which follows the FAIR data principles that make data Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable.

Zenodo hosts research products in many forms, such as articles, datasets, images, posters, and software. There are no file format restrictions, and files up to 50GB can be uploaded with ease.

With Zenodo, your research will benefit from the following:

  • Automatic DOI registration. Once you upload your data, it will be assigned a DOI (if it doesn't have one already), providing you with a unique and persistent identifier.
  • Access rights and licensing. You can control how accessible your want your data to be (Open Access, Embargoed Access, Restricted Access, or Closed Access), and select the appropriate Creative Commons license for your data.
  • Data preservation. Your research is stored safely for the future in CERN's Data Centre for as long as CERN exists.
  • Communities. Not only will your data be stored on Zenodo's servers and accessible to researchers, you can also upload your data to one of the three New Mexico Tech Communities maintained by Skeen Library:
