Due to COVID-19 restrictions and safety protocols, Fall 2020 Course Reserves are only available for electronic items.
Because of these and other restrictions related to COVID-19, we strongly encourage faculty to assign course materials that are available to students online. Some helpful strategies to support these efforts include:
For questions or more information on Course Reserves, please email us at nmtlib@nmt.edu and a staff member will be in touch with you.
If the materials requested are in the library's collection, items will be available within 48 business hours.*
You may request library instruction for your students by filling out this form.
In order to ensure that instruction sessions are relevant to your class, we ask that you make requests at least two weeks in advance so that the librarian(s) have time to prepare and collaborate with you.
In order to better facilitate library instruction, we respectfully request that you, the faculty member, are present during our visit. You may wish to interject questions or observations pertinent to the course you are teaching, and you will want to know precisely what information your students learned from our librarians. This will ensure that your students are prepared for the demands of your subsequent assignments.
Reserve a study, conference, or meeting room here.
NOTE: Room reservations for the Tripp Room (212) and Study Room 5 require approval by library staff. If the room is available, we will approve your reservation after the booking form has been submitted.
If you would like to reserve the Kuellmer Reading Room (aka the "Donkey Room") or Einstein's Atrium for a special event, please email us at nmtlib@nmt.edu and a staff member will be in touch with you.
