Be aware that material we receive for our patrons from other libraries is at the discretion of these other libraries. We are required to follow any copyright laws that library may be subject to, and must follow any restrictions placed on the loaned item by the lending library. Such restrictions will be labeled on the book-strap placed on the item by the department, and may include but is not limited to:

Skeen Library will not attempt to acquire physical items from countries that do not border the mainland of the United States of America.
Skeen Library will not request or honor requests to create a photocopy of a work or journal in its entirety, or copy requests for more than one chapter of an item, one article from an item, or 50 pages of an item, whichever is the least.
