APAS provides financial assistance for dog and cat spay/neuter to:
-Low-income residents of Socorro and Catron counties, including students and low-income seniors aged 55 and over (APAS currently covers $200 of the cost of the surgery for qualifying residents)
-Residents who trap, sterilize, and return feral cats to neighborhood colonies
-Residents who surrender a litter of puppies or kittens to the Socorro Animal Shelter (APAS will cover the cost of the surgery to spay the mother of the litter)

The OSCAR Foundation, LLC, is a non-profit corporation that provides New Mexico pet owners financial assistance based on need so their pets can access surgery and physical rehabilitation to optimize mobility and quality of life.

SHAP- Northern New Mexico Street Homeless Animal Project Inc. was founded to help people on the street keep and care for their companion animal, their family.

Santa Fe Animal Shelter’s Community Assistance for Santa Fe’s Animals (CASA) program is a safety net program that assists pet guardians in need. We may be able to assist pet guardians with access to veterinary care, low-cost vaccines and spay/neuter, pet food, and more. Guardians must live in the City or County of Santa Fe.
