So You Want to Podcast?
In the Spring of 2017, UNM engineering graduate students Gabriel Hesch and Jonathan Baca launched the 'Breaking Math' podcast to share their love of mathematics, philosophy, and culture with the world. One year later, the two enjoy over 160,000 total plays spanning 24 episodes, multiple sponsorships, and a world-wide audience. Hesch & Baca will be joining us to talk about their approach to podcasting as well as the greater podcasting scene in the state of New Mexico. This talk will include what it takes to start a podcast as well as the different formats available.
